HireAbility.com (“HireAbility”) has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for the websites: www.hireability.com, www.resumeparser.com, and www.cvparser.com (collectively the “Sites”). By visiting the Sites, you are accepting the terms of this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.

EU-US Privacy Shield

Statement:

HireAbility.com, LLC complies with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the US Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information from European Union member countries. All of the sites listed below belong to HireAbility.com, LLC and adhere to the same Privacy Shield Principles as does HireAbility.com LLC.
1. www.HireAbility.com (“hireability.com”) is a company web site owned and operated by HireAbility where information about the company, its products as well as all documentation pertinent to the HireAbility products is provided, and CV /Resume and Job Order parsing demos can be executed.
2. www.resumeparser.com (“resumeparser.com”) is a company Web site owned and operated by HireAbility where information about the company, its products as well as all documentation pertinent to the HireAbility products is provided, and CV /Resume and Job Order parsing demos can be executed. This site also serves as an entry point to all HireAbility parsing traffic.
3. www.cvparser.com (“cvparser.com”) is a company Web site owned and operated by HireAbility where information about the company, its products as well as all documentation pertinent to the HireAbility products is provided, and CV /Resume and Job Order parsing demos can be executed.
The Sites contain links to other sites. HireAbility is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of other web sites.

Adherence to Privacy Shield Principles:

HireAbility LLC has self-certified that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles of Notice, Choice, Accountability for Onward Transfer, Security, Data Integrity and Purpose Limitation, Access, and Recourse, Enforcement and Liability. If there is any conflict between the policies in this privacy policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern.

Information You Provide to Us:

Registration for a Free Trial account www.hireability.com require users to give contact information (e.g. name, company name, telephone number and email address) and other information about their plans for using, and interests in our products and services.

We store contact and billing information you enter on the HireAbility web site (or provide to us in another manner). Actual candidate resume (CV) and/or job order data is never stored, unless explicitly agreed upon in writing for testing/review purposes. You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you may not be able to access or use some or all of our functionality. We use the information that you provide to respond to your requests, improve our service and communicate with you effectively.

Third Party Access to Personal Data:

When you are providing us with your personal information, you are sharing that information with HireAbility alone. HireAbility does not rent or sell your personal information to any third parties.

Before using or sharing your information in a way you have not authorized, we will give you choices and a way to opt-out of that use or sharing. HireAbility has potential liability in the case of onward transfer of Privacy Shield data to third parties.

Access to your Account through the use of the Product Code:

You have a right to access personal data we hold about you.  The only way to gain access to your trial parsing account and/or your permanent user account on www.hireability.com is by entering your provided Product Code in the appropriate fields. Therefore, you should not reveal your Product Code to anyone. If you think that your Product Code has been compromised, inform us and the new Product Code will be provided for you.

Security to Limit Use and Disclosure of your Personal Data:

HireAbility has rigid security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, and unauthorized access and alteration of the information under our control.
Statistics: We use Google Analytics to conduct anonymous web traffic analysis for our site. While Google Analytics makes use of cookies, no personal information is ever collected or analyzed by this service. For more information on Google Analytics, you should refer to their Privacy Policy at http://www.google.com/intl/en_ALL/privacy.html.
Children: HireAbility does not license its products or services for purchase by those under the age of 18.

Dispute Resolution:

In compliance with the EU-US Privacy Shield Principles, HireAbility.com, LLC commits to resolve complaints about your privacy and our collection or use of your personal information. HireAbility.com LLC has further committed to refer unresolved privacy complaints under the EU-US Privacy Shield Principles BBB EU PRIVACY SHIELD, a non-profit alternative dispute resolution provider located in the United States and operated by the Council of Better Business Bureaus. If you do not receive timely acknowledgment of your complaint, or if your complaint is not satisfactorily addressed, please visit www.bbb.org/EU-privacy-shield/for-eu-consumers/ for more information and to file a complaint.

Privacy Shield Enforcement Authority:

The enforcement authority that has jurisdiction over HireAbility.com LLC compliance with the Privacy Shield is the Federal Trade Commission.

Additional Arbitration:

Under certain limited conditions, individuals might be able to invoke binding arbitration before the Privacy Shield Panel to be created by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the European Commission.

Disclosure of Customer Information: 

We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law; enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other license agreements; or protect the rights and property of HireAbility, our customers, users, or others. This includes the exchange of information in defense or prevention of fraud, and reduction of credit risk. We may be required to disclose personal information in response to a lawful request by public authorities, including to meet national security and law enforcement requirements.
