Answer 1The HireAbility Developer Program is a collection of applications and services that can be build directly into your website or application. These tools can enrich the your users experience while others will simply help you get certain automated taks done.
 
Answer 2This program is for developers, commercial businesses and researchers who are looking for helpful tools and services that can be integrated directly into their applications.
 
Answer 3The HireAbility Developer Program tools are free to use unless otherwise noted.
 
Answer 4Some of the tools such as ALEX Toolkit are limited to a daily usage rate of 100 transactions, others such as the RSS feeds offer unlimited usage. For those tools that do have a transaction limit, if you have needs for additional transactions above that amount, a higher transaction limit can be purchased.
 
Answer 5When your rate limit has been reached, your application will receive an XML response with a standard error and description of the problem.
 
Answer 6Yes. Integration into commercial applications is allowed and encouraged.
 
Answer 7Since the tools and services provided are based on existing web standards, the choice of programming language is left up to you. Use whatever works best for you needs, project or existing knowledge.
 
Answer 8Currenty the ALEX Toolkit API must be accessed by making a request via SOAP or HTTP POST. There are plans to offer a .NET dll in the future.
