Parsing Software – An Independent View

Fifteen years ago we at HireAbility, a parsing software company, asked ourselves the following question: could we parse resumes and CVs so that, for example, when a person who lives on Oracle Drive does not come up in searches for candidates with Oracle skills? We would have to create parsing software that reads resumes like a human being, that is, we need to create a parser that understands the context of the text being processed. We did just that. HireAbility’s ALEX parsing service views CVs/resumes and job orders as a human would – with near human accuracy. It is good to know the progress we’ve made in this space has been noticed. The link below summarizes the current status of resume parsers in the industry.
