Project Description: The client has an online transactional processing (OLTP) system implemented in the Medgate software that stores Industrial Hygiene (IH) and Health Services (Medical) transactional data. The Medical business customers have a need to more efficiently report and analyze this data. However, the client has experienced difficulty in delivering an effective reporting solution out of the Medgate system via Business Objects. Alternatively, it has sought a supplier to assist in defining and building a reporting solution by sourcing the Medgate OLTP system for creating selected Cognos standard reports and an ad-hoc reporting solution from the EPM operational data store.
