Job Objective
Identify all analytical testing needs and cost-effective means through internal and external resources. Establish and validate test methods. Technical resource on Project Teams and other depts. Timely support of QC review of materials and product approval submissions for R&D, QE and RA. Maintain GMP, ISO, Good Lab Practices and industry standards for lab operations. Respond with corrective measures for QS audits and other assessments. Ensure training programs are developed, maintained and keep employees updated for inspection and test methods.
Key Performance Issues
QC conformance testing performed timely yielding accurate results. Lab operations remain compliant with regulatory and quality requirements. Ensure appropriate budgets are developed and maintained. Assure appropriate control systems are planned and implemented effectively.
Requirements
Chemistry degree, MS required and PhD preferred. Protein chemist highly desired. Laboratory supervisory experience. Familiarity with essential equipment. Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience desirable.
Hours Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm
