The Vignette CMS consultant is a hands-on Senior Developer and Technical Architect, responsible for scoping, architecting and leading technology teams in the delivery of challenging technical solutions for clients in various industries. A critical activity for the architect is to provide technical guidance and consulting to clients, to help them understand key technology tradeoffs and make informed decisions. The architect is expected to collaborate easily and effectively with creative and experience design team leads to ensure a successful technology designs and implementations of solutions for clients. Responsibilities include:
· Hands-on design and development of CMS solutions
· Evaluating customer’s Content Management System to advise long-term strategic CMS recommendations and on short-term template building
· Assessing Vignette CMS’ pros and cons for customer needs
· Build HTML templates to be converted to Vignette or other CMS templates
Requested
· 5 to 10 years of experience with a broad range of technologies, such as Java / J2EE, CMS (WCM), ATG, SOA, Web Services, XML
· Strong experience hand-coding HTML
· Hands-on End-to-End Web Design, development and architecture of CMS solutions
· Vignette CMS experience including template building using HTML and/or Vignette
Desired
· Experience in the Financial Services industry
