ATG / Java Developer
Responsibilities:
*Design and develop Java/ATG software components in a fast paced multidisciplinary environment and should take complete ownership of technical solution.
*Excellent communication skills that can be used to effectively communicate technical concepts to business teams.
*Translate business requirements and functional specifications into software.
*Suggest innovative solutions to business problems/processes that leverage technology to provide marketing differentiation, performance improvements, and better user experiences.
*Interact well with other technical team leaders such as architects, testing, analysts, and release managers as a lead member of the development team in order to accomplish the business goal.
Requirements
*3 years of J2EE and Java programming experience
*1 year of experience in implementing ATG 2007 based applications using Commerce, Personalization and Scenario servers.
*Strong understanding of Java programming best practices
*Understanding of distributed computing concepts
*Object oriented design and design patterns experience
*Understand SDLC processes and methodologies
*Experienced with relational database SQL
*Strong analytical, problem solving, and production diagnostic skills.
Additional skills preferred:
*Understanding of JSP, AJAX, XML, XSLT and basic UI - Technologies
*Oracle 10G database working experience eCommerce application development experience.
*Experience with B2C projects/applications
*Experience w/ Java Application Servers, preferably Web Logic Server
*Strong experience with SOAP and Web Services industry experience in Telecom/Wireless
Education:
*BS degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Engineering or equivalent technical degree required
