Job Details: Welding Quality Inspector for 2nd shift job.
Job Duties:
Obtain required sample parts from welding at predetermined times (samples, first piece, in process, last piece, final audit).
Conduct required weld inspections and tests to ensure product compliance, including break, bend chisel/peel, pry, push out, torque and cut/etch analysis.
Evaluate, document, and photograph inspection and test results
Identify and isolate suspect and non-conforming materials and products
Communicate findings to team members.
Must be able to operate chop saw, band saw, plasma cutting torch, air chisel, hydraulic press, sanding/polishing wheels and mix/handle acid solutions for etching.
