Our client is a privately owned manufacturer of canned foods. The company has been in operation for more than 25 years and has annual sales of over $100M.
Responsibilities
1) Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of manufacturing plant
2) Enforce and implement a structured PM program for all manufacturing equipment
3) Assign work orders on an ongoing basis and follow until completed
4) Keep the Maintenance Manger updated on all maintenance related situations
Requirements
1) 5+ years of experience in a similar role along with experience in leading a group of maintenance personnel in a manufacturing plant
2) Experience in ammonia (freon)
3) Experience in repair and making the necessary adjustments to production equipment (conveyors, multivac, Rovema, Weighpak, Illapaks, ovens and fryers)
4) Knowledge of electrical, air, steam and hydraulic applications
5) Excellent communication skills in Spanish a plus
