Our client is a privately owned manufacturer of dairy products. The company has been in operation for more than 25 years and has annual sales of over $10M.
Responsibilities
1) Troubleshoot, repair and maintain all production packaging/processing equipment to minimize downtime
2) Install, inspect, maintain and repair electrical power and control systems throughout the facility
3) Read, interpret and up-date blueprints as well as schematic diagrams
4) Troubleshoot and analyze electrical systems using appropriate test equipment
5) Diagnose and take corrective action to restore electrical and electronic systems
6) Maintain inventory, maintenance and repair logs accurately
7) Adhere to and uphold plant safety/GMP rules and technical standards
8) Participate in and contribute to training programs, as designated by the company
9) Repair and maintain all plant equipment
10) Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
1) Certificate in Refrigeration (A class)
2) Minimum 8 years of experience along with expertise in working on continuous conveyors in a food facility
3) Experience in servicing coolers and chillers
4) Willingness to work unusual hours as needed to rebuild plant
