Qualifications / Skills Required
1) Degree (4 year)
2) 7+ years of experience in process/project/plant engineering leadership in food companies
3) Background in plant process flow and design as well as electrical knowledge of PLC/ladder logics
4) Experience in boilers, grinding systems, extrusion cooking, liquid coating systems and packaging equipments
5) Strong management skills along with ability to work with contractors and keep them on a set time line
6) Ability to design correct applications used in a feed-processing plant
7) Ability to read electrical drawing and troubleshoot problems
8) Willingness to travel (approximately 50%) between plants across the US
Partial Job Description
1) Perform micro array manufacture in accordance with written instructions
2) Operate and maintain production equipment in a clean room environment
3) Prepare batch documentation according to GMP principles and internal standards
4) Review and provide feedback on new and existing documents on processes and equipment procedures.
5) Perform data collection and general lab maintenance
6) Initiate non-conformance reports as well as identify and segregate non-conforming material
7) Participate in customer complaint investigations
8) Assist in the implementation of new equipment into manufacturing
9) Participate in the transfer of new products into manufacturing
10) Lead and participate in process improvement initiatives
11) Participate in internal and external audits
