1) Evaluate opportunities for improving efficiency, production throughput and safety in plant and manufacturing facilities
2) Develop labor cost analysis, evaluate worker productivity and implement improvements in all processes
3) Work with the Maintenance to plan and prioritize projects, options and cost
4) Develop, design and plan equipment and machine layouts, workflow and safety precautions to maximize utilization of plant and manufacturing facilities
5) Initiate and evaluate plant project requests through cost justification analysis
6) Evaluate opportunities for efficient utility utilization and cost reduction
7) Establish and implement a process to prioritize projects within the plant based on economic return
8) Evaluate and execute time-study techniques to establish labor standards
9) Develop and improve workplace design
