Our client is a privately owned manufacturer of meat products. The company employs more than 300 people.
Responsibilities
1) Lead development and implementation of quality programs
2) Audit execution of quality programs like allergen, sanitation and self-audits
3) Organize investigations to diagnose quality problems throughout the production process
4) Ensure that records and documentation are maintained and GMPs are followed
5) Work as a plant contact person for customer inquiries, concerns and audits
6) Investigate new technologies/applications to improve processes
7) Enhance quality/food safety programs
8) Improve MICS and HACCP score compliance
9) Manage technical staff and execute business plan objectives
10) Ensure that all internal and external audits are completed above acceptable levels
11) Work within framework of approved procedures, policies, processes and budgets
12) Implement and manage all quality initiatives
Requirements
1) Degree (4 year) in a relevant field
2) 7+ years of experience along with experience in meat
3) Expertise in USDA, GMP, SOP and OSHA
