This role is within one of Europe’s larges Hedge Funds. The Hedge Fund employs several different strategies which it runs through several different platforms. This position sits on their multi-strategy platform in London.
The group runs several strategies: some are run in house whilst others operate as managed accounts. It is for the latter that the fund are currently hiring. They are looking to take on a senior Risk analyst who has had a broad range of experience looking at different strategies. The group currently have strategies running across long/short equity, convertible bond arbitrage, macro economic, as well as exposure to a wide variety of instruments ranging from futures to OTC derivatives.
The fund is now looking to take on someone who can sit on the Risk Team to and look at new business for the group. The role will require someone with a highly quantitative background as well as an exceptional understanding of trading strategies. The role is fundamental to the growth of this group and as such the fund is looking to take on someone who can not only perform the extensive risk analysis but also to be able to communicate directly with client.
