Position Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will provide technical and project management support for all SharePoint projects and initiatives that are requested by the client or for enhancement of internal corporate operations/procedures. This opportunity will utilize your expertise in Technical Project Management as well as other facets associated with Microsoft SharePoint Solutions. You will be a hands-on leader responsible for the work of other consultants as well as your own client assignments. Candidate will provide technical and project management guidance to all team members and act as a team lead for all SharePoint initiatives within the SharePoint Practice. We are looking for someone with the ability to apply a strong project management approach that is typical and standard for the development and/or implementation of software solutions.
Position Responsibilities:
This position involves activities that includes but is not limited to:
•Analyzing and implement common project management practices and procedures
•Modifying written project management guidelines
•Documenting project management work processes
•Experience in SharePoint Server 2007, MOSS, SharePoint 3.0, .NET, .NET Developer, Programmer, Software Developer, Infrastructure
•Developing and executing training plans and products for client users
•Providing expertise for continued improvement in the execution of project and risk management processes
•Developing methods to assess progress when implementing processes
•Developing policies and procedures
•Serve as an independent consultant to clients on a wide variety of project management process activities
•Effective English written and verbal communications - ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users.
•Effective client-facing interpersonal skills; comfortable and effective acting as liaison between multiple technology groups and representing groups in large scale meetings.
Position Qualifications:
•5 years recent experience using C#, .NET, ADO.NET, and ASP.NET or related technologies
•3 years combined experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Services (MOSS) 2007 or Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 and SharePoint 2003 or Windows SharePoint Services 2.0
•On-call requirements and some extended hours may be required
•Knowledge of project management principles and execution; PMP certification desirable
•Ability to collaborate with a team and work independently
•Extensive experience in development and implementation of records management to include use of Microsoft SharePoint.
•Ability to oversee programming of custom applications to meet dynamic client needs
•Excellent skills in oral and written communication
•Working knowledge of database management principles and database programming experience (SQL, Access)
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
•Familiarity with information management and other Microsoft Office software such as Visio and MS project
•Windows server administration experience desirable
Minimum education experience:
•Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
•BS/BA degree in engineering, or business, and/or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which the knowledge, skills and abilities comparable to those listed have been achieved
•Ten years professional experience required
