Our client is a privately owned manufacturer of food and beverage products. The company has been in operation for more than 25 years and has annual sales of over $25M.
Responsibilities
1) Determine long-term resource needs
2) Oversee equipment life cycle
3) Maintain equipment as well as facilities as well as take care of HACCP/CFIA needs
4) Manage OEE, TPM/RCM along with a departmental budget (approximately $1M)
5) Serve as a leader in building a team and managing through change
6) Ensure safety standards are met and equipment is maintained
Requirements
1) Degree (4 year) in Engineering along with an electrical, millwright or industrial mechanic license
2) 5+ years of experience in a similar role, managing a maintenance department
3) Food preparation background
4) Strong communication, leadership and exceptional planning skills
5) Ability to manage a computerized maintenance management system
6) Ability to lead through superior interpersonal skills
