Our client is a privately owned manufacturer of meat products. The company has been in operation for more than 25 years and has annual sales of over $1B.
Responsibilities
1) Manage day-to-day operations of the Production Department
2) Monitor production inputs and outputs to minimize product loss
3) Ensure all product orders are produced on time
4) Liaise with external customers and interact with the Quality Assurance Department, Maintenance Department, etc.
5) Lead operational excellence within a plant environment
Requirements
1) Degree (4 year) preferred
2) Minimum 5 years of experience in production management/supervision at a meat facility
3) Proven experience in developing high performing teams
4) In-depth knowledge of HACCP, GMP and CFIA
