Breast Cancer Director
Our client is seeking a qualified candidate to assume leadership of and expand its established breast program. The current breast program averages 400 breast cases a year.
The successful candidate will assist with the planning stage of a new 20,000 square foot off-site, state-of-the-art comprehensive breast wellness facility. The ideal candidate would be recruited to the rank of associate or full professor. Leadership experience in an established program and a progressive vision for growth and development of the program are preferred. Attractive compensation and full benefits apply. Full support structure in place including two breast medical oncologist, four mammographers, a basic scientist with interest in breast research, lab space, lab techs, and a clinical trials office. State-of-the-art Radiation Oncology facilities house both a Gamma Knife and a Cyber Knife. No general surgery responsibility.
Minimum qualifications:
Position requires a medical degree.
Successful completion of a Surgical
Oncology or SSO Certified Breast Fellowship required
Must be board certified in general surgery and have a full, unrestricted license to practice in the state of North Carolina
