To conceive, design, develop, and maintain products to achieve project goals. Support and/or complete lower complexity engineering tasks as assigned to meet project objectives.
Responsibilities
• Plan, Develop and coordinate tasks as assigned as an individual contributor or as a member of a cross functional team.
• Create and develop engineering project documentation, i.e. bill of materials and drawings, and support the development of specifications.
• Support and development of prototypes, test plans and validate as required.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve engineering issues.
• Support product release plans as assigned.
• Support higher level engineers in analyzing engineering solutions.
Business-specific Responsibilities
• Responsible for startup of machines as required to meet on-time production delivery
• Controls design & schematics using AutoCAD Electrical
• Updating schematics as required to match as shipped machines
• Custom PLC programming and HMI development as required by customer.
• Provide direction to electricians during the production build of machinery.
Minimum Qualifications
• BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology or equivalent experience. EE degree preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years experience.
• Effective oral and written skills
