Our client is a publicly owned manufacturer of dairy products and employs over 5000 people.
Responsibilities
1) Oversee and monitor the management, budget and implementation of all projects
2) Develop and update plant schematics and layout drawings
3) Provide guidance regarding design concepts, specifications and requirements for the best use of equipment and manufacturing processes
4) Oversee the design and implementation of manufacturing processes
5) Analyze feasibility, design and operation of equipment and components
6) Maintain an understanding of the manufacturing processes of the company and identify areas where the cost/benefit favors technology and automation
7) Identify maintenance and installation requirements of equipment as well as outside resource requirements to support projects and company initiatives
8) Maintain the operating policies and procedures of the company as well as the requirements specified by OSHA and other governing bodies
Requirements
1) Degree (4 year) in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering
2) 7+ years of experience along with a food/pharma background
3) Prior experience in leading project management
