As the first point of customer contact, this position will address customer requests and issues via the call center phone lines. Interact with technical support, field service engineers, contracts, sales, and other inter-company departments to solve customer requests.
Hours: 12pm-5pm
ˇ Follow up on customer orders, backordered items or items in transit
ˇ Some product promotion, but no tele-sales or cold calling
ˇ Some outbound calls necessary to recover warrantee parts from customer sites.
ˇ Other administrative tasks as assigned
ˇ Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
ˇ Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
ˇ Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
ˇ Call center experience a plus
ˇ SAP experience a plus
ˇ Bilingual skills in Spanish or French Canadian a plus
ˇ Preferred experience with lean business processes
