The holidays are over, and Miss J has left the bosom of her family to return to the US of A. Whilst in the midst of her eccentric and noisy family it dawned on her that communication would be a great topic for her column. There had been so much talking and so little listening. It often appears to be the same when someone is selling "at you." Sure enough, upon her return she found a letter awaiting her on that very subject!

I am a sales person and I think I am a half decent one but every time a telephone canvasser/telesales person calls my home I cringe and think to myself, "Do I sound anything like this person?" ...
